The Forney EDC Board in the past has used these funds for infrastructure development, corporate relocation, employment expansion, sales tax reimbursement and similar projects. You must apply for incentive funds with the application (linked below) and send it to Forney EDC Staff for review. Funds dispersed must be approved by the Forney EDC Board and Forney City Council.
Forney EDC provides direct cash and loan incentives from the "Type B" 1/2 cent sales tax collected for economic development within the City of Forney.
