Groundbreakings Galore!

 The largest groundbreaking in Forney history happened on May 10, 2012 for the Forney Gateway bridge.  This bridge is going to expand over Highway 80 and the railroad tracks and provide a "loop" in Forney, connecting FM 1641 and FM 548 on the east side.  Please see the aerial map shown in "Ideal Location" for more information on the new roadway.

Here are a couple shots of the Three Forks Assisted Living Groundbreaking held on June 29, 2012.  This brand new facility will have forty assisted living units and twenty memory care units, with the ability to expand up to an additional twenty assisted living units, if future demand dictates.  This project is under construction on FM 548, just south of the Municipal Court and the Community Park.  We are excited to have them here!
