On the eastern edge of Dallas County and in the northwest portion of Kaufman county, Forney is perfectly positioned for quick access to the Dallas Metroplex and to all of North Texas, East Texas and the United States. But it’s out of the traffic snarls common along Interstates 45 and 35 north of Dallas. Easy access to two major highways - Highway 80 on the north side of town and Interstate 20 to the south put Forney only minutes from the Interstate 635 loop, Downtown Dallas, DFW International and Dallas Love Field Airports.
